Craft Barn Extravaganza

I hope lots of you are coming along to this - it's all free (except the classes, oh and the shopping of course!) and you get to see some great stuff.
On the Sunday, I'm doing Crafty Individuals as Jean and Malcolm can't come along this time (we'll miss you).
I'm making cards using the Build a Meadow set, so if you want to see how to use your stamps to build up a grassy scene, come along and say hello. I'm going to use lots of different colours to create almost seasonal cards. Here's a sneak peek of a couple of them:

Pop on over to the Crafty Individuals blog to see what Jean's been doing with them too.

Thanks for looking!

Buttons and Bows...

This was the theme over on the Craft Barn Blog last week and I made a little button jar:

It used just one Kaisercraft stamp, stamped and painted tissue paper and stamped and painted buttons:

plus ribbon, braid and a doily.

A Right Dog's Dinner....

It's my turn over on the PaperArtsy blog this evening and believe me, this title fits perfectly! Here's a sneak peek:

To see the drama of my project, head on over there!

All Boxed in!

Well, I've now finished my project for the Craft Barn Extravaganza Masterclass on Friday 6 June and it went from this:

to this:

I've used the JOFY limited Edition paint colours, but as always you're welcome to choose your own colour palette. The die cuts have been especially sized and cut by Di from Tando to fit the Lynne Perrella stamps.

This is a big project with lots of techniques and also functional! What more could you ask for? So, if you fancy joining us on the day, just click on this link or phone them up on 01737 822961

Lady in Blue....

with a distinctly green hue!
This one turned out a little bigger.

I used 7 Dots Studio paper and the same stamp, the acetate again mounted straight onto the paper, no paint or anything.

I used some paper from the same collection and stamped all over it in black with a quote from Hot Picks 1007 just to fill in the white spaces (I'm a bit allergic to those!).

Then I dug out a doily, lots of lovely buttons and braid and made up a flower with a die cut - never tried one of those before, but they're really effective!

That's the last of my ladies - working with the patterned paper has been great fun.

Lady in Beige...

That sounds awful, doesn't it! It looks a bit better than it sounds though!

Here I've gone shabby chic and used some of the Santoro Mirabelle 6x6 papers - just love those hearts:

Same Lynne Perrella stamp but I didn't paint on the back of the acetate this time, just stuck it straight on.

Version 3 tomorrow!

Lady in Green....

I've been having a little play with the Lynne Perrella stamps Collection 027 and acetate.

Usually when I'm working with acetate I create a painty, stencilled background and lay the acetate on top but this time I decided to try them out on patterned paper.

I've stamped them onto acetate, painted on the back and then waded through my scrapbook paper stash to get some different looks!

Today's version is bright and breezy using some chevron paper (I think Bo Bunny?). I was going to add embellishments but decided it didn't need it:

I'll post the next one tomorrow!
