Country Life...

On WOYWW you could just see some of the Artistic Outpost stamps I was working with:

Here's a close up of one of the projects I was making with the Country Life set:

Go on over to Happy Daze to see it in full!

Thanks for looking!

Thankyou!

Just a quick post to say thank you for all the nice comments re WOYWW. Now, for anyone wondering about that hammer (Ikea's best) I use it to bash in those eyelets - it's so heavy one tap does it! I did have the Fiskars springy things, but they sprang all the wrong way, so I just cut them in half and still use them.
That lettuce seed packet is from one of the new Artistic Outpost plates over on Happy Daze - am just working on some samples and will let you know when they go on their blog.

WOYWW

Having commented about my workspace on the last post, I thought I'd put a photo up this week for WOYWW:

See what I mean about messy! You can just see a couple of the stamps I'm working with at the mo. I've also been trying out colours on my scrap paper!
I hate to say that that's only one work surface in my craft room aka the conservatory. The dining room table doesn't look too good either!

Cheers!

One day...

A very quick ATC to show you, made from scraps again!

I did have another one as well but I can't find it - maybe I should enter WOYWW - you'd be horrified!

Thanks for looking!

Watch the Birdie...

Here's a card I made from some scraps - one of my favourite things to do as you never know how it's going to turn out!

The bird is from a Fiskars set and the leaves are from one of the Basic Grey Limited Edition sets:

What! Leftovers again!...

That's what my youngest cries in disgust when I start digging in the freezer and produce lots of unlabelled, unidentifiable dishes for dinner! Actually, if I'm honest, my cooking doesn't taste that great first time round!!!

Well, in this case I've used some leftover card that just wasn't quite right for the project I was working on and challenged myself to make something with it. I like doing this as anything goes!
It started with some dried sprayed card that I'd spritzed with water only to find that different types of spray inks react, well, differently! The pinky colour was Adirondack ColorWash Cranberry and spread a lot more than the Creative Notions Colour Sprays. I was left with a bit of a mess, so overstamped and coloured in some Sketchy Flourishes from Inkadinkado to try and pull it all together:

Then I cut it up. This first card uses Papermania Chatsworth stamps. I quite like this, but only so so:

This second card uses Kelly Panacci stamps Twit Twoo - love these. I also used some of the new Basic Grey Basics paper and the brown seems to work much better with the background card:

I added a little corner treatment to finish it off. I've still got enough to make an ATC.

Houses from scraps

Two ATCs using the scraps from the Crafty Individuals house stamp project:

I used the paper I'd been stamping off onto for the backgrounds and then added some book text to finish off.
