Houses galore....

I couldn't resist using these houses from Crafty Individuals to build up a whole town of streets:

They stamp so beautifully and I just added a tree and a couple of birds at the top to finish it off.

I'm going down the Garden....

well, the shed!
Over on the PaperArtsy Blog the theme is Blue and Yellow Ochre and I've made a bisque sign for someone's shed:

Bisque is fabulous to stamp on so hop on over to the blog to see how I made it!

Journal pages for That's Crafty!

These pages come from an 8x8 journal from That's Crafty!, but I decided to split them up and use them for individual pieces.
All the stamps, stencils, paints and other bits are available fro That's Crafty!

First of all I've used one of their new 8x8 stencils - fantastic! - and put a small, mirror misted tile in the middle. If you haven't tried out the Mirror Mist yet, you have to get hold of some.

Next I've used another 8x8 stencil to create this girl's head. The paints are from the Pebeo Iridescent range.:

Finally, I've used the clock stencil and stamped some crazy birds to go with it!

It's Moroccan Lantern time...

at The Craft Barn next Saturday.
We're going to be putting together an MDF kit made especially for you by Tando and rusting and patina-ing it to make it look like old and worn metal:

Can't wait - it's going to be fun.

Lots of lovely paint and bright colours....

Just up my street!
Next Wednesday in Inky Fingers we're making a Kate Crane Planner where you can record your stash/stamps/techniques or whatever you fancy.
I've gone for DecoArt Mixed Media acrylics, Lin Brown stamps and lots of stencilling etc. Here we go:
Front and back covers (quite restrained!):

and then the dividers - lots of bright colours:

It's going to be fun. So if you'd like to join us at The Craft Barn, just follow the link above.

Infusions, Lynne Perrella and bleach!

What a lovely mix!
I've got a post over on the PaperArtsy Blog tonight using just this combination on glossy card. A bit of an experimentation to see what would happen.
Here's a sneak peek:

Here's another card I made for a class using the same techniques with LP036:

This one is on matte stamping card rather than glossy and I've spritzed the background lightly with bleach before stamping over it. I just love how the leaf sprig (from ZA06) bleached out.

You can also use the bleach technique with very different style stamps. Look at these Zinsky flowers:

The background here was coloured with Black Knight and Violet Storms Infusions - the colour left behind after bleaching is beautiful. Those walnut crystals do very interesting things!
