From skirting board to...

Dutch Houses!

I found this photo that I'd forgotten about from my wood project in last month's Craft Stamper. This was actually an extra that they couldn't use.

It was the shape of the wood that made me think of the little porcelain gabled houses my Dad used to get on the plane when he flew KLM. You could collect them as they all had slightly different gables. (They were filled with Dutch gin!)


The door stamp is from Artistic Stamper, although I think only the smaller one is now available. The windows I stamped with offcuts of rubber. I used a Stazon Hydrangea Blue inkpad to get that lovely colour.
I liked the fact that the wood was a bit wonky!

These are lovely Helen, and I love that colour of Stazon. The houses remind me of Delft china a bit, they are so quirky. Judith x
