Softly, softly....

Here I've used softer colours from the oil pastel set in the middle of the card and then sprayed round the edge with Dylusions inks. The oil pastels act as a resist, so the spray ink only seeps into any tiny gaps left. You get an almost weathered paint effect:




The circus collage is built up with the Oxford Impression Circus stamps.
I'm going to be demoing all this and more at the Craft Barn Extravaganza this Saturday and Sunday, so come along and say hi!

I loved this technique; I've had oil pastels stashed away from my childhood for years...now they can come out and play!!!!
