Gorgeous greens

This is the one of shelf tags I made for the launch last week using one of Melina’s fabulous new leaf masks which are lovely and big. I actually crackled the background (which didn’t work brilliantly as I am notoriously bad with crackle) but the funny thing was it crackled the texture paste that I used for the leaves on top as well - a happy accident! I added extra colour to my leaves using Distress Watercolor pencils and added shading to give them dimension. The bottles were in my stash. First of all I painted them then rolled them over some pattern stamps then rubbed them back a bit to give a shabby feel.

Hope you've enjoyed this project. These tags are so much fun to work with.
