Cubbey holes..

This is a Tando Cubbey that I made for the Craft Barn blog using Kim Dellow PaperArtsy stamps and Imagination Crafts Starlight paints:

These come as kits to make up the separate boxes and you can arrange them as you like:

I decide to use the smallest one like a plant plot. They come with or without apertures - personally I liked the apertures as you can get more depth.

New Home...

Here's a New Home card I made using a Carabelle Studio stamp and hardware from Crafty Individuals:

The image is stamped onto acetate and layered over a brayered background and then highlighted on the back with a white pen.

We're going to be putting together an MDF kit made especially for you by Tando and rusting and patina-ing it to make it look like old and worn metal:

Can't wait - it's going to be fun.

JOFY, JOFY, JOFY...

I've had a lovely time creating a card and acrylic tag book for the Inky Fingers group on Wednesday 21 September at The Craft Barn. These stamps - JOFY 45 and 46 - are just so lovely to work with and colour:

The idea is that the acrylic pages can stand alone or overlay the page behind:

I'll show you some more later in the week.

Stamping on bisque...

I've got a class coming up on Sunday at The Craft Barn in which we'll be stamping on bisque with the lovely Kim Dellow PaperArtsy stamps:

You can see from these that I've played with different effects using transparent and opaque Fresco paints.

You'll get to choose what you stamp on as Sandy's using up all her bisque pieces as she's not going to stock it any more - there are vases, coasters, frames, tiles, a jug etc. if you fancy joining us just go here.

I'll show you some more samples, using completely different stamps, later in the week.

Demo at The Craft Barn

I had a lovely time on Saturday demoing at The Craft Barn - I was using the new Lynne Perrella stamps and Distress Markers. Here are a couple of easy cards that I made:

These use the Lynne Perrella LPC032 set, which are lovely fine line, quite tall stamps. Very versatile and easy to use.

Talking about The Craft Barn , I've got a class coming up making a Quirky Clock using a Tando kit and, by coincidence, Lynne Perrella stamps!
It's on Saturday 21 February and uses paints, acetate and lots of staples! Come along and join me if you fancy some fun and a real working clock at the end:

I've also got the second session of my Inky Fingers Club coming up shortly after on Wednesday 25 February in which we're going to be trying out Brushos and when I say trying out I mean just that - every which way but loose. You'll go home with a selection of projects and sample cards with all the techniques. Here's a sneak peek:
