Ducks a paddling...

Here's a card using the Crafty Individuals duck stamp CI-297:

I've used Derwent Coloursoft pencils to add colour and layered it up onto Glitz Designs paper (available from Happy Daze). Then I've stamped the corners and edges with parts of the Steampunk Butterfly stamp CI-295.

Vintage Butterfly...

Here's a card I've made using the new Crafty Individuals Steampunk Butterfly collage, CI-296.
I really like this stamp as it's both natural and mechanical, in other words, quirky!

I've teamed it up with some of the cogs and text from CI-294 and also some of the clocks from CI-255

The vintage papers are from Webster's Pages and 7Gypsies Conservatory. I've used Adirondack Pesto, Eggplant and Broken China to watercolour the background and used coordinating pencils for the butterfly.

I saw three ships...

Well, one actually, in this piece that I've made with some of the new Crafty Individuals stamps. I've used these two sets:

Fantastic, aren't they?
I've made a resist background in the top left corner, a bit like the Parisian Anthology papers, and added some mosaic pieces to look like the sea in the lower half. I had great fun choosing all the beads and chain for the hanging part.

I've been busy with the new stamps from Crafty Individuals - going to post more pics later on.

Dangly decoration!

I wasn't planning on making a dangly decoration, it just happened!
This uses one of the new Crafty Individual sets combined with a couple of colours from the Happy Birthday Big 'n' Juicy inkpad.

I've made the decoration double sided and added beads to the middle.

Greetings...

Here's the finished card I made using a stamp from Artistic Outpost Home plate and Glitz Designs Love Nest papers:

This is not a Christmas plate, but by using wintry colours you can get a Christmassy feel.

January Craft Stamper is in the shops tomorrow. It's a great issue, a budget special.
My article's all to do with stuff from the kitchen - unusual for me as I hate cooking!

Quite a variety of stamps used: the girl is Zettiology, the text is Elusive Images and the stalky thing is Artemio.

A Bird on a Vine...

Here's a card I've made with one of the new Crafty Individuals stamps combined with one of the older bird ones. I love the flourish leaves and vines on both of these stamps:

I've used the leafy part of the bird stamp to create a border on the background paper.

Cluck, cluck...

This card uses one of the new stamps from Crafty Individuals (CI-289). I knew I was going to enjoy working with it as I love chicken stamps!:

I've stamped in Vintage Photo Distress ink and coloured with a light blue, then layered onto Seven Gypsies patterned paper and finished off with Inka Gold (love that stuff).

Happy Birthday...

Here I've made a card for my daughter Katie. Lots of bright colours and a bit of a wacky stamp by Lost Coast designs. The corners are from some of the Viva Decor stamps (really good value) and the loopy border is a little one from Studio G that was tucked away in a drawer!

Gothic arches and frame...

Here's the last of the stuff I made for Artisan with the Paperartsy subs stamps (well, not quite, but I'm not showing you the other as I'm going to use them for an article!)
These Hot Picks stamps will be available for general purchase at some point, so keep your eyes open as I found them really fun to use.

They use Kaisercolour paints, Terra paste and Inka Gold, all from Paperartsy.

Artisan over...

Back from Artisan and had a great time - bought way too much stuff inbetween demos. All those lovely things I just had to have!

I met some lovely people, so if you came to say hi, thank you!

I was my usual messy self - we had to turn the table cloth over on the second day as I'd managed to cover it with white embossing powder and a touch of Inka Gold (love that stuff - thought it added some interesting texture myself!!!)

Here are some pictures of a couple of the things I made with the Paperartsy stamps:

As well as the stamps, I've used Paperartsy dies, Kaisercolour paints, Distress inkpads and Inka Gold, all available from Paperartsy.

WOYWW 29 September

It's WOYWW again and this time you can see that I've made a Christmas card! Yes, a Christmas card!!! I don't usually get started so early, but just had to have a go with the new Crafty Individual stamps. I'm aiming for a minimalist, all one layer card, which is very challenging for me!

Here are a couple more sneak peeks at what I'm going to be demoing at Artisan:

There are some great quote stamps on the second subs sheet.

Hope to see you there!
