It's tree time!

Crafty Individuals are on Hochanda on Wednesday at 3pm and 7pm. The stamps are all based round trees - I love trees!
Here are a couple of sneak peeks:

As you can see, lots of different ideas.

PaperArtsy new releases....

Drum roll please for Kay Carley's  new designs for PaperArtsy.
I was thrilled to be able to work with Kay's new products - A5 sets, Minis and stencils.
Here are a few sneak peeks of what I made:

To see the full reveal, head on over to the blog where there will be staggered posts:
19.00 Kay Carley
19.30 Ellie Knol
20.00 Helen Chilton (ie. me!)

Everyone's used the stamps differently so you can get lots of different ideas.

Enjoy!

Lots of texture...

These are both made on an 8x8 That's crafty! panel which will take everything you throw at it, hence all the texture and paint and gel.
I've used Light Texture Paste on the background of this one and then the tree is done with 3D Gloss Gel Medium through a stencil. Once it's completely dried, you can heat it with a heat gun to 'restickify' it and apply the foil.

I've used the Gloss Gel again here, this time coloured with Brushos. I love that leaf stencil.

A little bit of magic....

Now I'm not a unicorn type of person really, but when this stencil from That's Crafty! dropped onto the mat, I couldn't resist it! It made it very easy to add in the shading and stuff:

All in pink....

These two pieces both use this stamp from Crafty Individuals - CI-230. The birds just look so chirpy!.
I've made a little stampbord piece here:

and then put them on canvas here:

They're actually back to front here as this was stamped first onto TAP paper and then ironed onto the canvas.

A little bit of foiling...

I couldn't resist adding a bit of foiling to these large tags. It's incredibly easy - I scraped some 3D Gloss Gel Medium through one of That's Crafty! stencils - 8x8 Mandala - let it dry and then reheated it with the heat gun and applied the foil. It gives a lovely distressed look:

I couldn't resist adding the Tim Holtz paper dolls as they're leaning and sitting in just the right way!
