Get stitching!

Here's a tag I've made with one of the new Crafty Individuals stamps, CI-452 Nature's Beauty:

I've layered up onto various scrapbook papers and added stitching on my machine, leaving lots of lovely thready bits.

Lovely trees....

Crafty Individuals have just brought out a lovely tree stamp that compliments their A4 tree sheet which I absolutely love. having a little play, I decided to make a tree scene like this:

I've taken the corner flowers from another new stamp, CI-452:

I've used the branches from the trees to stamp the texture in the sky and the leaves on the tree, very easy to do as it only involves one stamp!

PaperArtsy Infusions and a little bit of Imagination....

Crafts that is - I've used some of their Art Stamps in the projects for next week's class at The Craft Barn.
The Infusions powders from PaperArtsy are just fantastic - we're going to make a selection of art pieces as well as having a play.
Here are a couple of them - I'll post more tomorrow:

Places are now limited so if you want to join in you need to book now.

Late again!

Sorry, completely forgot to coordinate my PaperArtsy blog post. The theme was Gelli Plates which was interesting for me as although I've got one it's been sitting in the back of the cupboard doing nothing. I've never seen the point of working on a Gelli when you can work directly on card or canvas!

In the end I used inks and the fact that you can reverse your images. The best thing about this was the lovely Ocean  stamp set from the Cat's Meow range.

Here's a peek:

Head on over to the PA Blog over the next two weeks to get more ideas.

PS Since making my project I've seen a really good tutorial using packing tape on the Gelli - now that looked interesting.
