Harbour scene...

These new stamps from Crafty Individuals just made me think of Balamory which one of mine used to watch when they were little!

I've used a That's Crafty! stencil to create the harbour wall and then done a lot of cutting out!

Sail away...

 Here's one of the cards I made for the Crafty Individuals Hochanda shows. It uses a new Sharron Bates stamp and some of the text paper.

The background was a brayered panel (with the Blue Breezes

Kaleidascope inkpad) that I already had in my stash.

Blues and purples...

I was on the That's Crafty! blog yesterday with this triptych.

The papers are by Stamperia - absolutely fell in love with them. I've added some extra images that I've cut out to create focal points.

I really enjoyed making this project, although it was difficult to cut the papers up - I might have to get another set just to look at!

Shimmer and Shine...

Here's the full view of the embroidery hoop I made for That's Crafty!

I've used clear organza (although it looks green here!) in the hoop and then attached all the cut out leaves and Craftyboard elements to that.

Dry Brushos...

I used dry Brushos on my background here, mainly to knock back the modelling paste a bit. The stencil is one of the new ones, Damask, which I love. I've kept the pieces on top fairly simple using stamps and Craftyboard pieces.

Silhouettes in the round....

This round sample for That's Crafty! from last week is totally different to yesterday's! The background changed colour several times before I liked it! The Craftyboard came into it's own here - there is so much to choose from on each sheet.

I also added touches of foiling by painting on a little 3D gel, letting it dry and then heating with a heat gun to make it sticky.
