In the Bleak Midwinter...

Well, that's what it feels like here! The boiler's broken down!!! Typical, just before Christmas and when I've got my 85 year old mother staying who's broken her leg (in Singapore actually - she had to be repatriated with a nurse escort, but that's another story!)
The plumber's here now putting a new boiler in - he's got 3 men on it just to get it done by tomorrow - I'm so grateful.
Anyway, as I can't go out I've made another Christmas card to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and to thank you all for taking the trouble to visit my blog and leave comments.
It looks like this close-up:

Recognise those stamps? They're from the Elusive Images Snow is Falling plate. And in full like this:

The words are from the Crafty Individuals Christmas Trees CI-257 and the snowy flourish is an Inkadinkado Filigree Snowman set.

Happy Christmas to you all!

Helen

Hope you get the boiler sorted soon Helen as it's so cold without one. Also hope your mother isn't feeling too bad and recovers quickly.
I nearly broke something on Saturday having slipped on a really nasty patch of ice near Worthing library and ended up flat on my back on the pavement.
Hope you manage to have a lovely Christmas and thank you so much for the gorgeous card and the seasonal wishes.

Ooooohhhh nice Helen. I hope your house warms up soon. Our boiler died just before xmas last year - why do these things ALWAYS happen at the worst time? Have a sherry and a mince pie to warm you up ;).

Helen this is simply stunning!

I hope you're nice and toasty warm for Christmas Day and that your mum is soon 'on the mend'.

My very best wishes to you and yours for a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Brrr! You have my sympathies - been there, done that and it's NOT nice :(

Wrap up and keep warm. Hope your Mum's okay. Lovely card, btw - just as an aside, lol - but lovely to see you posting even when you're down in the dumps!! Hope you have your heating back on tomorrow :)

Lovely card Helen - hope you're nice and warm now with a new boiler! Ours is being nursed along by hubby who's pretty good at that sort of thing - it's making weird noises though but we're keeping our fingers crossed it hangs out till the boiler scrappage scheme comes in next year so we can get a grant towards replacing it. Knowing our luck though, it won't qualify!!!
Hope your Mum recovers quickly.
Best wishes for the rest of Christmas and Happy New Year
Caz (without Lou, her flat purchase finally went through at the beginning of the month so my "baby" has finally left home!!!)5
