Dutch Houses!
I found this photo that I'd forgotten about from my wood project in last month's Craft Stamper. This was actually an extra that they couldn't use.
It was the shape of the wood that made me think of the little porcelain gabled houses my Dad used to get on the plane when he flew KLM. You could collect them as they all had slightly different gables. (They were filled with Dutch gin!)
The door stamp is from Artistic Stamper, although I think only the smaller one is now available. The windows I stamped with offcuts of rubber. I used a Stazon Hydrangea Blue inkpad to get that lovely colour.
I liked the fact that the wood was a bit wonky!

Wooden Cubes
When I did the Craft Stamper wooden cube project, I also made one to hold photos.
When we went to New York last year, James and Katie hired bikes in Central Park - as you can see, they had great fun! Katie's bike had back pedal brakes which she'd never used before, which proved very interesting for the other people in the park!
I used We Are Memory Keepers Teen Angst papers, with Inkadinkado Circles stamped over the top. I then added the PaperArtsy Cogs and Gears stamped in white and then with StazOn inkpads.
The photo holder is just one I found in a discount store.

Happy Mothers' Day. Mum!
Not that she'll read this as she hasn't got a computer, but here's a picture of the card I made for her, once again using an image from Crafty Individuals:
I chose a bluebell wood as she loves bluebells and also dug out the old Fastenater - one of those 'must-haves' that I hardly ever use!
I also made her a little ornament out of glued together old book pages and another CI image:
I saw this idea in a book by Jana Ewy called 'Art to Wear'. I particularly liked the way she'd hammered the wire flat.
Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday Mil!
Here's a quick card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday:
It uses a Crafty individuals image that I've lightly sanded, mounted onto CI and Cosmo Fleuriste paper and then edged with a border from Kelly Panacci.
