Happy Mothers' Day. Mum!

Not that she'll read this as she hasn't got a computer, but here's a picture of the card I made for her, once again using an image from Crafty Individuals:



I chose a bluebell wood as she loves bluebells and also dug out the old Fastenater - one of those 'must-haves' that I hardly ever use!
I also made her a little ornament out of glued together old book pages and another CI image:
I saw this idea in a book by Jana Ewy called 'Art to Wear'. I particularly liked the way she'd hammered the wire flat.

Both pieces are great but I too like the flattened wire used as an embellishment. Great idea.

I love the colours that you've used in your card and ornament Helen. The Bluebell image is lovely. The hammered wire is fabulous, I'm sure your Mum will love her gift it is so pretty. Judith x

I love the colours - shades of blue are some of my favourites.
But, oh no! another must have book to divert me from actually getting on with something.

loving all the cogs and wheels really lovely. when I saw the first one in CS it remined me of a music box my nan had it was a cube too and photos slid in ever side and you wound it up and (Can't remember the tune would if i heard it) and it turned round and this is just wonderful
