Steampunk fun...

I made this card with the other new plate of Artistic Outpost stamps called Steampunk - really great for masculine cards:

If you want to see some of the other stuff I made, then get on over to Happy Daze and have a look there!

A Lovely Day...

No, that's not the weather (although it's actually quite sunny here today, but still cold) but the name of one of the new stamp plates from Artistic Outpost which you can buy here in the UK from Happy Daze.

I love these stamps as they remind me of my childhood, although I was never very good on a bicycle (a bit of a liability actually!)

Anyway here's a card that I made using these stamps and two of the new Distress ink colours, Wild Honey and Barn Door:

Keep an eye on the Happy Daze blog as more samples will be going up soon.

A very late Happy Easter!!

Yes, I know I'm late but Easter seemed to be very busy.

My MIL came to stay which meant major clean-up time - you know what I mean!

Then I went up to Wales to help my Mum as she's moving from a 5 bedroom house to a flat. That was 30 years of clean-up/clear-out to do. Actually she'd done most of it - it was just a case of measuring up and helping her get new appliances, make lists that we promptly lost, work out who she has to contact etc. All those things that have to be done when you move house. We had an afternoon off on the Sunday as it was such lovely weather and went and sat in the gardens at Erddig which is a lovely National Trust house where my Mum volunteers. If you're ever near Wrexham it's well worth a visit.

Anyway, my cards got started but not finished.

I thought I'd use up scraps and some of those bird stamps that I can never resist buying! They use 3 sets, one from Kaisercraft, one from Crate Paper and one from Basic Grey.

May Craft Stamper

May Craft stamper is out today!

In this issue I've written a Masterclass on using watercolours (paints and Aquatone crayons). Never done a Masterclass before so thought it was about time I had a go!
The stamps I used are from Cherry Pie Art stamps (Abundance and Thoughts) available from Scrapz. Here's a sneak peek:
