A bit of Eclectica

I've been working away on a few samples for the Craft Barn Demo on the 6th April (first demo in the new place at Priory Farm - very exciting) and I'm trying out Lin Brown's bold graphic Eclectica stamps from PaperArtsy.
These stamps are very versatile. I've gone for bright colours and glossy card like here:

Just the thing to cheer you up on a gloomy day like today.
I've also been experimenting with the Distress Markers and going for the watery effect:

My black pen ran as well which wasn't quite what I intended! Did wonder what an earth to do with the tag  as it looks a bit sorry for itself, but then I laid these two tulip heads on top:

A great improvement! They've been painted over with yellow Vitrail glass paint which produces a fantastic gloss effect.

Thanks for looking!

Helen

Love what you've done with the stamps. The distress background is great with those shiny flower heads!!

Gorgeous! Petra and I are coming to see the new location on 6 April - the cafe sounds good - and to see you of course!
